Notice of DPOA Annual Meeting

Our Annual Meeting is scheduled to take place Saturday, September 15, 2007 on the tennis court at 11:30 a.m. (rain date Sunday the 16th).

It is hoped all can attend as we have important business to conduct. In the event you cannot be present, please use the Proxy below. Complete it and give it to your designee in time for our meeting (to be a valid proxyholder your designee must be a homeowner). Should your plans change enabling you to attend, your Proxy may be revoked. Should the first line of your Proxy be left blank, doing so will be taken to mean you designate John DePasquale, DPOA President, as your Proxy designee.   

If you cannot attend our Annual Meeting it is very important you use your Proxy because on our agenda is voting on an Amendment to the DPOA By-Laws, and to effect a change in our By-Laws, a 2/3 majority of the community is required. Attached is the proposed By-Laws change (words in italic represent the proposed changes). The proposed Amendment deals with the $25,000 expenditure limit provided to your Board of Trustees which limit has been unchanged for decades. The By-Law change requested is to increase this amount under certain conditions as defined in the attachment.  

In accord with our By-Laws, three Trustees will vacate Board seats effective with our Annual Meeting. Nominations for new Trustees will be taken at the meeting and voted upon.
